SEO Expert

We want malkano.com to rank in the USA, Canada and India, and our clients ask us to grow their search traffic too. We're looking for an SEO expert who is equally at home in a crawl report and a content brief: someone who can find why a Next.js site isn't being indexed, plan the pages a market actually searches for, and show the numbers moving in Search Console.

1. 01Own SEO for malkano.com: technical health, site structure, content plan and reporting
2. 02Run technical audits for client websites (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data) and work with developers on fixes
3. 03Do keyword and competitor research for the USA, Canada and India and turn it into page and blog plans
4. 04Write content briefs and on-page recommendations, and review drafts before they go live
5. 05Improve local search presence, including Google Business Profile and citations
6. 06Build quality links through outreach, partnerships and digital PR
7. 07Report on rankings, traffic and leads in Search Console, GA4 and Looker Studio

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO, with results you can show (rankings, traffic or leads you moved)
• Strong technical SEO: crawling, indexation, canonicals, hreflang, redirects and schema markup
• Experience with JavaScript-rendered sites (React or Next.js) and how search engines see them
• Daily fluency with Google Search Console, GA4 and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Comfort with Screaming Frog or a similar crawler, and with spreadsheets
• Clear written English for briefs, audits and client reports

• Experience optimising for AI search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity)
• Basic HTML and CSS, enough to suggest exact fixes
• Agency or multi-client experience
• Local SEO for service businesses
